About our Mission

The mission of the Winston County’s Best of the Best New Year’s Gala is to celebrate the people, businesses, organizations, and professionals who make Winston County a strong and special community.

Through community nominations, public voting, and our annual New Year’s Eve gala, we aim to shine a spotlight on local excellence, encourage support for small businesses, recognize those who serve our area, and bring our community together in a positive and meaningful way.

The gala is about more than presenting awards. It is about creating an opportunity for Winston County to come together, celebrate one another’s accomplishments, build connections, and recognize the hard work that often happens behind the scenes every day.

From family-owned businesses and healthcare professionals to local organizations, service providers, entrepreneurs, and community favorites, Best of the Best exists to give Winston County a chance to say, “We see you, we appreciate you, and we are proud to support you.”
